Kathmandu (1N) – Nepalgunj (1N) – Simikot or Hilsa (1N) – Purang (1N) Lake-Mansarovar (1N) – Darchen (1N) – Mount Kailash (2N) – Simikot (1N) – Kathmandu-(1N) via Nepalganj
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. Your meals for the day are already planned (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Next morning after breakfast visit Kathmandu sightseeing tour like, Pashupatinath Temple, Jal Narayan Mandir (sleeping Lord Vishnu) and Guheshwari Devi Temple to start the journey with blessings of Pashupatinath. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
On the third day, we'll be embarking on a 7-hour, 152-kilometer journey from Kathmandu to Syabru bensi, where we'll enjoy meals throughout the day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Our destination is at an elevation of 2400m.
On Day 4, we will depart from our lodging after breakfast and make the journey to Rasuwa Gadi. This drive will take approximately one hour, covering a distance of 15 kilometers. Upon arrival at the border, we will complete the necessary immigration and customs procedures for both Nepal and China. From there, we will continue our drive to Kerung, a small town located 26km away. Our overnight stay will be at a hotel in Kerung, situated at an altitude of 3700m. All meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided.
On the fifth day, we will embark on a 250km journey to Sanga, reaching an altitude of 4500m. From Gurungng-La Pass (5050m), we will be treated to breath-taking views of Mt. Shishapangma standing tall at 8021m, as well as other towering peaks such as Gauri Shankar. Meals for the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On the sixth day, we will cover a distance of 385km as we make our way to Lake Manasarovar. It is a highly revered day for everyone as we get our first sight of the holy lake and the majestic Mt. Kailash from Horchu Pass. Our overnight accommodation will be at Chhu Gompa, which is situated on the lakeshore. Meals for the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On the seventh day, you will have the opportunity to achieve a lifetime goal by visiting the abode of God. Activities such as Puja, Havana worship, Meditation, and taking a holy bath will be included in this experience. In the afternoon, there will be a 30km drive to Darchen at an altitude of 4560m. You will stay at a new hotel and meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided.
On the eighth day, we will travel from Darchen to Diraphuk covering a distance of 18km. Our journey will begin with a 10km drive and then we will proceed to Diraphuk where we will start our kora or circuit. The trek up to Diraphuk will take around four to five hours, with an overnight stay at a Guest House. Meals for the day include breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
On the ninth day, we will trek a distance of 22km to reach Zuthulpuk at an altitude of 4790m. The estimated time for this hike is approximately 8 to 10 hours. The highly anticipated day of the Parikarma continues, much talked about by all pilgrims as the most challenging. During the excursion, we will trek up to Dolma La pass at 5600m. Our team will provide exceptional support throughout the journey. Short prayers were offered at Dolma-la before the group set off towards Gaurikund. They had programmed in. As usual, our overnight stay in Zuthulpuk will be at the Guest house, with meal options of plain.
On Day 10 of our journey, we will continue from Zuthulpuk to Sanga via Manasarovar Horchu. After having breakfast, we will trek for around 8 km until we reach our designated meeting point, where a bus will be waiting to take us to Darchen and complete the parikarma (circuit). Following lunch, we will travel to Sanga via Manasarovar and spend the night at a hotel with meals provided.
On the eleventh day, head back to Kerung and enjoy meals provided (B/L/D).
On the twelfth day, we will transfer from Kerung to Kathmandu and check into our hotel. Meals will be provided throughout the day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
On Day 13, you will be transferred to Kathmandu airport for your departure. Your meal for the day will be plain (B), and the trip concludes.
